Andy is a superb photographer and his images certainly capture the beauty of where we live. Being in nature has been such an important thing for so many people over the last few months.
Being able to also capture emotion in a moment in time in a photograph is a very skilful thing, and Andy has done this in a few of the photographs he dedicated to health and care workers in Northumberland and North Tyneside. This was a very kind and thoughtful thing to do and is very much appreciated by our staff. (Northumbria NHS Healthcare Trust)
This Is What We’re Fighting For
These 24 photographs have been chosen by NHS Northumbria to form an exhibition across three hospitals in February 2021. I am immensely proud that my photographs will be on the walls of the hospitals and I hope that they inspire the staff, patients and visitors to remember how beautiful Northumberland is and how important it is to keep going. We all have to remember that one day soon we will once again be able to walk along our beaches an explore our hills and the day will come when we can freely explore our wonderful county again.
